Information about Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) Role in Therapy

There have been many articles in the media recently about the benefits of supplementing your diet with Essential Fatty Acids. Some children with speech delays and disorders benefit from EFA supplementation.

The Cherab Foundation has found that most children benefited from the Omega 3 and Omega 6 formula called ProEFA. You can also purchase Efalex, which is an Omega 3 Omega 6 formula similar to ProEFA. Efalex recommends a higher dosage of 4 to 8 capsules a day vs. the 1 to 2 capsules a day recommended daily dosage of ProEFA. You can also purchase Ultimate Omega; an Omega 3/Omega 6 formula like ProEFA and made by the same company. There are many others manufacturers of EFAs out there, and most are inexpensive to try.

Are you interested in purchases EFAs? The Cherab Foundation does not officially endorse or support any individual product. We recommend that you read the research and articles regarding EFAs on our site. We also recommend that you join our BigTent Group and read about the results of parents who have used various products and dosages. After you finish your own research, we have made various products available through the Shop in Service for the Cherab Foundation (http://shopinserviceinc2.goestores.com).
